“I first got hip to EarthQuaker when I heard the Hummingbird, flat-out one of the most amazing, useful, versatile tremolo pedals ever made. I used it on a record & its sound made the track throb; I was hooked. From there I moved on to an early fuzz that had a Godzilla-lookin’ claw on it, the Blaster Fuzz, which I’m pretty sure I own a prototype of and which is pictured here. Over the years I’ve heard at least a dozen EarthQuaker Devices and each one brings so much to the table. At present I have the Night Wire & the Sea Machine in line and together they conspire to take my high treble notes out into the far reaches of the cosmos - you can see people’s eyes light up when I stomp on the buttons. I have my eye on some of their compression & fuzz pedal next & expect to be exploring EarthQuaker’s line for as long as I’m playing guitar!”
