“EarthQuaker Devices has opened up a whole new world of sounds that I only dreamt of vocalists being able to create. Growing up as an instrumentalist first, I’ve always wanted to be a part of the band, sometimes fronting and sometimes supporting. With the Afterneath, I’ve been able to create beautiful atmospheres to fill out the soundscape of my band. In combination with the Hummingbird, I usually activate it to create a mysterious tremolo sound when I want to intensify my ideas. Or with the Rainbow Machine, when I want to completely camouflage the sound of my voice and lead the audience out into space.”
