Gettin' Weird With Har Mar Superstar
Har Mar Superstar are experts when it comes to gettin’ weird. We met up with Mr. Superstar himself, Sean Tillman, and trumpeter Jake Baldwin to see what might happen if we paired up a handful of our wildest Devices with trumpet and vocals.
Right away the Levitation reverb proved itself to be a match for the trumpet, lending oodles of classic “wall of sound” plate reverb ambience. And who needs a synth when you have a trumpet and the Pitch Bay?
On vocals, the Sea Machine provides a wobbly seasick pitch-shifting chorus without the scurvy, and the Organizer frames Sean’s voice in a dreamy choir of octaves, effectively quadrupling his range into supersonic frequencies.
